Frequently asked questions:

1. Do you have any puppies available?
No. We do not have any puppies currently available.

For future litters click on the Puppy tab.

2. Do you have a waiting list?
No. We do not keep a waiting list. We do keep a deposit list. The difference is we require a deposit if you would like us to hold a future puppy for you and/or keep you informed. We have lots of people contacting us wanting puppies. As a busy family of 6 we do not have time to chase down all the inquiries we receive when puppies are due. So, if you are serious about a future puppy a deposit is the first step. Our deposits are fully refundable. Once a deposit is received you are officially "in the communication loop". We contact you frequently by text or DM with "pupdates" 🐶.

3. Is your price firm?
Yes. Our price for friends, family and others is the same. Financial facts: stud fees start around $2300. C-sections can be over $1,000 or more depending on time of day. Food, housing, vaccinations, basic care, genetic/other testing plus medical expenses can be quite expensive for each dog. Our dogs are meant to be life long family members. The cost of our dogs divided over an average of 10-12 years comes to about $125-150/year. Now imagine what you spend on disposable expenditures, electronics, eating out or weekend getaways per year!?!  🤔

4. Can I buy a puppy as a gift?
No. We do not support animals as gifts 🎁. The decision to take on a pet should be carefully considered. We prefer to sell to families or individuals who are ready for the commitment both financially and emotionally.

5. Do you have references?
Yes. We would gladly give you the names of past pet owners.

6. Do you sell pups with full registration?
No. Not at this time. Only limited AKC registration is available on our pups. We may have some Co-Ownership/Guardian opportunities in coming years. 👭

7. Do you sell retired adults?
No. Our dogs are a part of our family. They will retire the same way I hope to. Loved. ❤

8. Do you donate dogs as service pets?
Not yet. We have long term goals for our breeding program. We hope to support Semper K9 and our own future non-profit for special needs individuals one day. We are in the beginning stages of dreaming and planning 🤓. It may take a few years!

9. What forms of payment do you accept?
Venmo, PayPal, Cash and Check are accepted for deposits. Final payment is cash only. 💲

10. I thought goldens were gold???
Goldens come in many colors. Cream (light) is recognized by the AKC. Some people call them English Creams. Truth is...our dogs have lineage from America, the Netherlands and the Ukraine. So coloring will vary. We do not expect any of our pups to be medium to dark gold. They will be cream or light gold.

11. What is the difference between F1, F1B, F2 and F2b Goldendoodles?

The F1 stands for the “first-generation” hybrid dog. An F1 Goldendoodle is created by breeding a purebred Golden Retriever to a purebred Standard poodle. Their offspring with be a first-generation Goldendoodle. The F2 Goldendoodle is a “second-generation” hybrid dog. An F2 Goldendoodle is created by breeding two F1 Goldendoodles. The offspring of this breeding will result in a second-generation Goldendoodle. The F1 Goldendoodle is genetically considered to be the best hybrid version. This is because it is the very first time the genetics of two purebred dogs have been crossed together. The “B” in F1B Goldendoodle stands for what is knows as a “back cross”. A Back Cross is where you breed an F1 Goldendoodle and then breed it back to a Poodle. This back cross breeding method results in the F1B Goldendoodle being 3/4 Poodle and 1/4 Golden Retriever when looking at genetics. An F2 Goldendoodle is still 1/2 Golden Retriever and 1/2 Poodle because both parents are 50/50 crosses between the two breeds.
